3D foot shape detection instrument – the use of 3D foot scanner

The foot 3D scanner is also a 3D foot shape detection instrument.

The foot 3D scanner mainly detects and measures the human foot through laser scanning, and obtains more than 60 sets of human foot data through non-contact scanning, including parameters such as arch height, heel angle, foot length, foot width, and instep dimension.

It can also measure 3D data and provide data in 3D formats such as stl.

The use process of the foot 3D scanner:

1. First, check whether the data cable, power supply, etc. are connected normally, and adjust the ambient light to avoid strong light interference.

2. Open the software on the computer to see if the software can be opened normally.

3. The tester takes off his shoes and socks, and then stands on the scanning area of the foot 3D scanner. Generally, there are signs on the scanner to remind the standing area.

4. Start the software and scanning equipment, and then test. During the test, the tester stands still, keeps the body relaxed and natural during the measurement process, and waits for the collection of the 3D point cloud data of the foot.

5. The software will automatically generate a 3D model of the foot and a detailed data report. The entire test process usually takes about 5-25 seconds.

6. After the test is completed, the report and data in stl and other data formats are exported in time.

The report can be scanned and downloaded by mobile phone, or it can be printed directly.

These data can be used to intelligently select shoe sizes, evaluate foot shapes, and evaluate whether there are abnormalities of the foot such as flat feet and high arches. They can also be used in the customization of corrective shoes and corrective insoles.
